Context
In today's fast-paced and technology-driven world, digital solutions have become increasingly prevalent in various industries, including healthcare. The rise of mobile applications has revolutionized the way individuals manage their health, with apps catering to a wide range of needs, from tracking fitness activities to monitoring chronic conditions.
Problem

Many health apps overlook the needs of older adults and non-tech-savvy users. Interfaces are often cluttered, difficult to navigate, and filled with medical jargon that can be hard to understand without professional help. Additionally, the lack of integrated tools like scanning or emergency access features makes managing health records inefficient and frustrating.
.
Solutions
We set out to design One Health — a simple, inclusive, and user-friendly mobile app that makes health management easier for everyone. With a focus on clear navigation, accessible language, and helpful tools, the app allows users to manage medical records, appointments, prescriptions, and doctor communication with confidence and ease.
Result

The final product is a universal health app built for both the general public and seniors. Key features include secure access to medical data, appointment scheduling, and direct contact with healthcare providers. Enhanced tools like voice commands, quick-scan onboarding, and an emergency QR code ensure convenience, safety, and usability for all.

Design & Iteration
My design contribution is Medical Record section.
Design Objective

To design an intuitive and accessible interface that allows users—especially seniors and non-tech-savvy individuals—to effortlessly view, understand, and manage their health records and summaries.
Design Decisions
I focused on clarity and simplicity by organizing the information into clearly defined sections, using large, legible fonts and intuitive icons to guide navigation. The layout emphasizes a clean visual hierarchy, enabling users to quickly locate the most relevant information, such as recent diagnoses, medications, and doctor notes. I also incorporated color-coded status indicators and section highlights to enhance visibility and reduce cognitive load.
Design Impact

This design significantly enhances the user experience by reducing friction and uncertainty. It empowers users to quickly access critical health information, better understand their medical conditions, and make informed decisions—confidently and independently.
